The president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster will debate about tourist rental housing as part of the events scheduled for next May in Santiago de Compostela.
On 5, 6 and 7 May, Santiago de Compostela will host the third edition of the Galician Real Estate Congress, an event organised by the Galician Association of Real Estate Agents (Agalin) to bring together professionals from the sector and discuss the current situation and future prospects of the sector. Among the issues that will be addressed during these three days are aspects relating to marketing, challenges, training, real estate risks and opportunities for growth, but there will also be time to talk about an issue directly linked to the world of tourism.
One of the debates included in the programme will focus on how tourist accommodation is affecting the rental market, and to analyse the issue the conference organisers have invited the president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal. He will be joined by the Councillor for Housing of Santiago de Compostela, Mercedes Rosón; Joan Clos, former Minister of Tourism and current President of the Association of Rental Housing Owners, and Víctor Castro, representing the Association of Tourist Apartments and Housing of Galicia.
The Xunta de Galicia, the City Council of Santiago and the Galician Institute of Housing and Land collaborate with Agalin in the organisation of this Congress whose central programme will take place in the Hotel Puerta del Camino and in which it will also be possible to participate in online format.
