The Galician Tourism Cluster continues to promote the Galicia Sustainable Destination brand in the international market. This time it does so thanks to the cooperative campaigns launched by Turespaña, whose objective is to carry out international marketing actions more efficiently and effectively.
With the Expedia group as a partner, and with a focus on the American market, this new campaign seeks to encourage the commercialization of the experiences published within the framework of the Galicia Sustainable Destination product club, thus promoting the acquisition of sustainable experiences in Galicia. Thanks to this collaboration campaign, the Cluster will strengthen the brand in the North American market, increasing tourist income and attracting a more profitable and sustainable tourist. In total, it is estimated that 150,000 euros will be allocated to this action.
The Galicia Sustainable Destination initiative was born in 2022 with the financing and support of the Xunta de Galicia through an agreement signed between the Galician Tourism Agency and the Cluster. This brand is articulated as a tourist product club that integrates the entire Galician tourist offer that is respectful of the environment, culture and society. Through the web portal galiciadestinosostible.com you can find the entire offer, which includes everything from accommodation to restaurants, travel agencies or different nautical or active tourism activities, among others. Through this platform we connect tourists and companies, facilitating access to the extensive sustainable tourism offer that exists in Galicia.
