Barbanza Arousa increases the number of businesses and services with the prestigious SICTED seal to 69

  • The 49 existing distinctions are joined by 23 more this year

The Barbanza Arousa destination joined SICTED a few years ago, a quality program promoted by the Ministry of Industry with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), with the aim of improving the products and services it offers its visitors.

Achieving this distinction certifies that the holder meets a series of requirements and recognizes the effort and commitment to continuous improvement. Currently, 69 businesses and services in Ribeira, Boiro, Rianxo, and A Pobra hold this seal.

The ultimate goal of this program is to improve the tourist experience and satisfaction, but it also offers a range of benefits for participating businesses, including access to activities to improve their internal management, benchmarks, increased staff qualifications, and opportunities to share experiences with other professionals in the sector.

The Barbanza Arousa association of municipalities emphasizes that joining the Sicted network means participating “in the largest tourism quality project developed in Spain.”
