18 establishments join the third edition of “Santiago Pasión Dulce”, from 23 March to 2 April

With the aim of encouraging afternoon consumption and paying homage to the “larpeira” tradition of the city, 18 establishments in Compostela will be holding the third edition of the “Santiago Pasión Dulce” initiative from 23 March to 2 April, a programme that began in 2016 under the umbrella brand name of Compostela Gastronómica. Promoted by Tourism of Santiago and the Hospitality of Compostela Association, it is also intended to contribute to the consolidation of Santiago as a gastronomic destination based on the sweetest tradition.
During these dates the local participants will include in their menus traditional sweet products and preparations of the city and Easter, in snack format, which will bring to the present time ancient recipes brought centuries ago by religious orders or rediscover the long tradition of chocolate, transferred to Europe thanks to the contribution of the Camino de Santiago that will add to the famous bread rolls and the popular Easter eggs.
Snacks with prize
In addition, all those who try the snacks of at least three of the participating venues will receive two tickets for the Tourist Train Parks Route or a pack of children’s postcards from Santiago, mmm…. how delicious!, which can be picked up at the municipal tourist information office.
