Compostela collects the award for online reputation

The Galician capital presented in Fitur the agreement with Lufthansa by which Compostela will be connected with Frankfurt or Munich from March

Santiago de Compostela received in Fitur the prize to the destination with the best online reputation in Spain by Trivago.es, a recognition that the search portal gave to the municipal representatives and the Hospitality Compostela Association in the stand of Galicia in An event in which the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro was present.

The prize, collected by the compostela councilor, Martiño Noriega, accompanied by the councilor of tourism, Marta Lois, and the president of the Association of Hospitality of Compostela, Sara Santos, values one of the factors that most influence in the decision making of the travelers, the online reputation. All of them have highlighted the effort of the hoteliers to make Santiago a welcoming city as well as the need to continue working to retain these travelers.

The Trivago Online Reputation Awards are awarded based on an online reputation study that shows the evaluation of the hotel plan of a destination and is obtained from all the opinions expressed by travelers on the Internet that Trivago has access to. The analysis has taken into account more than 9,000 cities worldwide and more than 200 million opinions from online booking portals. The final ranking agglutinates 100 cities and it is observed that the Spanish cities represented maintain a valuations that (83.40), Warsaw (83.38), Lisbon (83.16), Bogota (82.81), or Bogota (82.81), and the city of Santiago de Compostela (83.72). Agreement with Lufthansa
