One more edition the Clúster Turismo de Galicia will be present at the most important national event for the tourism sector, FITUR, to be held at IFEMA Madrid from 18 to 22 January. Once again, the Galician tourism industry will be present, with the help of Turismo de Galicia, and the HOSTED BUYERS workshop will be organized again, which will take place on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th January in an area specially enabled for it in Hall 9 A business meeting in which attendees will be able to hold appointments with invited guests and selected by FITUR. For the participation in this workshop Clúster Turismo de Galicia has 10 registrations that will be distributed among the members who request it before this Friday, November 18th at 1:00 p.m. For your registration you must send an email to administracion@clusterturismogalicia.com expressing your interest in the workshop and including your contact details (name, position, company, telephone and email). With FITUR starts the calendar of sector fairs and is one of the main calls for the tourism industry worldwide and the leading trade show for the Ibero-American area. This new edition starts with the best expectations, especially considering the positive balance recorded in the last call, held last January, in which a new record of participation in the FITUR trajectory was reached, with a total of 231,872 Visitors, including 124,659 participating professionals (2% more than in 2015), and 9,605 companies present, from 165 countries. Likewise, it emphasized once, the great number of professional and business meetings, with the consequent profitability of the Fair for the participants. All this, in addition, had repercussions in Madrid, generating an estimated economic impact in 210 million euros.
