Promote the use of the golf Galician golf by the Dutch athletes and promote golf tourism and the Galician tourism through media in this country were the objectives that Turismo de Galicia addressed their participation in the KLM Open 2016 tournament, held in this country and in which the best players in Europe participate.

With these premises, the department of the regional government set up a booth at the golf Spijk, where the test was developed, and which offered tourism and sports information Galicia as well as the possibilities offered by the Galician Community to practice golf, and promote the Galician tourism through contacts with the media, associations of golfers and specialized tour operators.
It should be noted that there are direct air links between Galicia and the Netherlands which facilitates access to the Galician Community of Dutch visitors today.

The ‘KLM Open 2016’, is a tournament of the European Tour, and has a share of the best players in Europe and America, Asia, Oceania and Africa, besides concentrating a large number of spectators, not only Dutch but from different neighboring countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, UK and Denmark that are of interest to our destination.
