OPC Galicia attended the celebration of the National Congress of OPC Spain, which was held in Burgos between 18 and 20 February. The president of OPC Galicia, Yolanda Barbeito, was also present at the national congress, which took part in the roundtable on “Suppliers, a prepositional problem … with or against?”. Barbeito defended a position “of collaboration between OPCs and suppliers, since it is the only thing that can ensure the success of the events.”
From his experience in organizing conferences, said that “the aim of both should be to establish a business relationship based on mutual benefit, win to win (win-win), in which both sides get benefits in a way balanced. “
The president of the Galician OPCs said that to succeed, they must “establish formulas of clear, open and transparent communication; share information, plans and resources of both parties; and share the pressure, without downloading the provider complications. ” He also called for “establishing clear payment agreements and fulfill them.”
