• The aim is to involve all citizens in refining and enriching a project that will connect the region along its coastline.

The Camiño do Litoral is initially structured into 52 stages for walking and cycling between Ribadeo and A Guarda, covering more than 1,300 kilometers across 79 coastal municipalities. Its objective is to link areas of high scenic value with populated areas, functioning as a territorial corridor that maintains a direct visual connection with the sea for most of the time.

The project seeks to highlight the cultural and natural heritage of the region’s coastline, which boasts a great variety of landscapes and extensive biodiversity.

The proposed route is available on the Litoral Galicia website.

Local entities, social organizations, and the general public can submit their proposals and suggestions to achieve the broadest possible consensus in defining this initiative, which aims to showcase Galicia’s coastal heritage.
