The call for applications for grants to support sustainable mobility on Galicia’s Wine Routes remains open.

The call for applications for grants to support sustainable mobility on Galicia’s Wine Routes remains open.

  • Support for the implementation of electric bicycles and scooters in tourist establishments and wineries.

The Galician Tourism Agency continues to accept applications for grants aimed at promoting sustainable mobility on Galicia’s Wine Routes. This is an opportunity for tourist establishments and wineries to enhance the food and wine experience by incorporating environmentally friendly transportation solutions.

These grants are intended for the purchase and operation of electric bicycles and scooters, the installation of charging points and repair stations, the creation of electric vehicle management systems, and the promotion of related experiences. The goal is to strengthen synergies among the various stakeholders on the wine routes and move towards a more sustainable, innovative, and locally connected tourism model.

  • Who can apply and in which territories they apply

Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that own tourist accommodation establishments (hotels, campsites, rural tourism establishments, tourist apartments and homes, or hostels) can benefit from these grants, provided they are registered in the Register of Tourism Businesses and Activities of Galicia (REAT). Wineries with tourist activity can also apply for the subsidies, provided they can demonstrate their status as a tourist attraction and their membership in one of the Galician Wine Routes.

The call for applications covers the territories of the five Galician Designations of Origin: Monterrei, Rías Baixas, Ribeira Sacra, Ribeiro, and Valdeorras. Therefore, both the establishments and the wineries applying must be located in these areas.

The eligible activities are structured around four lines: installation of charging points and repair stations; acquisition of electric bicycles and scooters; development of vehicle management systems; and signage and information about the projects implemented.

The application period remains open until February 16, 2026, and the procedure must be carried out through the Xunta de Galicia’s electronic portal, using the code TU503K.
