The Galicia Tourism Cluster (CTG) has created SIMADA, a free accommodation data monitoring system that provides hotels with relevant, real-time information to optimize their strategies and improve profitability.
The platform offers member companies up-to-date data on occupancy and prices, enabling them to make strategic decisions and adapt to market trends in real time. The information comes primarily from the accommodations’ own management systems and is supplemented with web scraping data from relevant tourism marketing sites and statistical information from the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE) and the Spanish Airports Authority (AENA).
SIMADA is a free system accessible to any accommodation provider that submits its data. This data will always be accessed in aggregate and anonymous form, with full security and confidentiality guarantees. Access to the information is through an accessible and user-friendly web application, designed so that any user can take full advantage of its features without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
The Galicia Tourism Cluster, with funding from the Xunta de Galicia-Axencia Turismo de Galicia and in collaboration with its member associations (Federations, Provincial Associations, Sectoral Associations, etc.), makes SIMADA available to any accommodation provider interested in joining the initiative.
