Acluxega organizes the conference “Efficiency and Geothermal Energy in the Tourism Sector” with the collaboration of the Cluster

  • The meeting will address how energy efficiency and geothermal energy can boost the sustainability of Galician tourism

 

The Galician Geothermal Energy Cluster Association (Acluxega) is organizing the conference “Efficiency and Geothermal Energy in the Tourism Sector” on October 16. This event will feature the collaboration of the Galician Tourism Cluster and will bring together professionals from the tourism, energy, and institutional sectors at the Illustrious Official College of Industrial Engineers of Galicia (Santiago de Compostela).

 

The meeting, which will begin at 11:30 a.m., seeks to promote the use of renewable energy and efficient technologies in the tourism sector, highlighting the role of geothermal energy as a driver of innovation and sustainability in the modernization of tourist accommodations and services.

 

  • A space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences

 

The institutional opening will be carried out by José Manuel Lamela Rivera, spokesperson for the ICOIIG Delegation in Santiago; Cesáreo Pardal, president of the Galician Tourism Cluster; e Manuel López Portela, president of Acluxega.

 

The program includes two panels focused on energy efficiency, the resources available and the success stories in Galician tourist establishments, such as the IMI Hotel (Ourense), the Pincheiro Apartments (A Pobra do Caramiñal) and the Gandarela Rural House and the Ferramenteiro Hostel (Portomarín).
