Starting July 18, a new edition of the #DescubreGaliciaenOutono tourist voucher will be available. This is an initiative by the Xunta de Galicia (Galician Regional Government) that seeks to consolidate tourism outside the summer season and support the sector during the off-peak months. The measure, which was activated with the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of Galicia on Monday the 14th, will allow visitors to enjoy stays and tourist experiences between September 15 and December 25, 2025.

With more than 16,000 vouchers available, the program aims to promote local getaways in the fall and showcase the region’s tourism resources beyond the summer. Each person will be able to purchase up to two passes for €90 each, which will allow them to enjoy €150 worth of tourist services, thanks to 40% co-financing from the regional government.

The measure seeks to strengthen the deseasonalization of tourism, one of the current priorities of Galician tourism policy, to more evenly distribute the sector’s economic impact throughout the year. The goal is to boost consumption in local establishments, such as accommodations or travel agencies, during the months with traditionally lower demand.

• Tourist establishments and agencies joining the voucher

In addition, interested tourist establishments and agencies can join the program from July 15 to December 1 through the official website bonoturismo.gal. The initiative expects to mobilize up to €2.5 million in this edition, adding to the €16.5 million activated since its launch in 2020.

Users will be able to download the vouchers from 9:00 a.m. on July 18th until December 19th, 2025, and they will be valid from September 15th to December 25th (both inclusive).
