As part of the collaboration between Turespaña and Turismo de Galiciaand following the successful participation in the MAST Sales Sensation convention in Chicago in 2023 and 2024, a workshop and fam trip will be held in Galicia from April 6 to 11 with the participation of 10 US tour operators.
The objective of this initiative is to consolidate and expand international tourism opportunities to Galicia, especially from the United States, through an immersive experience that showcases the cultural, natural, and culinary richness of the Galician destination. To this end, a program was designed that combines networking sessions with experiential visits to various emblematic locations in the region.

These companies had the opportunity to establish direct business contacts with American operators from Red Carpet Travel, Huntley Travel, House of Travel, Garrity Travel, Worldwide Traveler, Expert Journeys Travel, Elmgrove Travel, Starship Travel, and Gadabout Travel, presenting their specialized offerings of authentic, cultural, nature-based, and Camino de Santiago-related experiences.
In addition to the workshop, the fam trip takes the operators to emblematic places such as Santiago de Compostela, Ría de Arousa, Pontevedra, Combarro, Cambados, Baiona, Tui, and the impressive Ribeira Sacra, combining visits to historic pazos, fortresses, heritage sites, and national paradores, as well as gastronomic experiences in renowned restaurants.
This type of activity helps position Galicia as a quality destination in strategic markets and strengthens long-lasting business relationships with international tour operators. Furthermore, it strengthens the role of Galician inbound agencies, which are key to developing the sustainable, personalized, and value-added tourism that today’s traveler seeks.
