• Galicia consolidates its leadership in tourism quality with more than 300 Q badges.

Galicia continues to advance as a benchmark in tourism quality, consolidating itself as the second autonomous community in Spain with the most Q distinctions for Tourism Quality, already exceeding 300 recognitions. This achievement is the result of more than a decade of work led by the Galician Tourism Cluster in collaboration with Turismo de Galicia.

Through strategic initiatives, such as the investment of nearly 2 million euros in advisory and consulting services, the Cluster has made it easier for companies in the sector to obtain this prestigious seal. In addition, the annual aid promoted by the regional administration has played a key role in covering a large part of the costs of certification, monitoring and renewal, promoting the professionalization and competitiveness of tourist establishments in the region.

Galicia stands out as a leader in 11 categories, being the only Spanish community to obtain the Q distinction in specific areas such as tourist lodges, thematic routes and unique natural spaces. These recognitions not only reinforce the confidence of visitors, but also position the community as a role model in sustainable and quality tourism management.

The Q for Tourist Quality distinctive, created by the Spanish Tourist Quality System (SCTE), guarantees excellence in services, professionalism and safety, essential aspects to retain customers and attract new audiences. This seal not only benefits the establishments, but also strengthens the global image of Galicia as a tourist destination, committed to offering unique and memorable experiences.
