The Secretary of State for the Environment has just published a call for aid that covers projects of a different nature such as reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials, eco-design and putting on the market products made under eco-design schemes, improving waste management , digital transformation of processes through infrastructures and systems.

 

The aid regulated in this order will only be applicable if it has an incentive effect on the activity of the company that is the object of the aid and will be governed by a competitive bidding procedure. They are intended for private legal entities with their own legal personality, social economy entities that are not part of the public sector and groups of the above as long as they are owned by at least one SME, start-up or social economy entity. that meets the requirements established in the call.

 

The beneficiary entity may carry out subcontracting as long as the subcontracted percentage does not exceed 50% of the total amount of the cost of the investment project. In the category of aid intended for the digital transformation of processes through infrastructures and systems, the amount may not exceed 80%. The amount of aid will be distributed taking into consideration the limits and allocation percentages contemplated in the corresponding call.

 

The subsidies regulated in these bases will be compatible with the aid that could have been granted under other programs and instruments of the European Union or other territorial administrations or national or international public or private entities.

 

Beneficiary entities may receive an advance payment of the aid, the percentage of which will be determined in each call. These entities are obliged to constitute a guarantee whose amount must cover at least 5% of the advance amount, in favor of the granting body.
