The “10+10 Business Examples #PorElClima” initiative has opened a new call to recognize companies that are leading the way towards decarbonization. This edition will reward 10 large companies and 10 SMEs that stand out for their innovative actions in the fight against climate change.

Companies #PorElClima, an initiative of the #PorElClima Community, aims to implement the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda in the Spanish business environment. The call seeks to make visible and reward those companies that are already taking significant measures to combat the climate emergency and move towards decarbonization.

Interested companies can submit their applications until September 15, 2024 through the official website of the initiative. A committee of experts will evaluate the applications starting September 16. The final results will be announced on the initiative’s website on October 1, 2024. Both ongoing actions with measurable results during 2023 or until March 31, 2024, as well as newly created initiatives with clear objectives, will be assessed. Actions should focus on measuring impact, reducing emissions, public reporting of actions and social mobilization.

This call offers an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their leadership and commitment in the fight against climate change. By highlighting best practices and most significant achievements in decarbonization, the initiative not only recognizes individual efforts, but also inspires other companies to follow suit and contribute to a more sustainable future.
