Tourism companies can now join the new tourist voucher campaign #DiscoverGaliciaenOutono

A new campaign for the #DiscoverGaliciaenOutono tourist voucher starts with the opening of the business adhesion period. Companies in the Galician tourism sector registered in the REAT at the time of publication of the call, which are part of tourist accommodation establishments (hotel establishments, tourism camps, rural tourism establishments, tourist apartments, homes) may participate. tourist hotels and tourist lodges) and travel agencies.

 

Companies that wish to join the #DiscoverGaliciaenOutono program through tourist vouchers must register on the website www.bonoturismo.gal indicating the requested information. A company that has already joined the 2023 tourist voucher campaign must join again, with the required data, to be able to participate in the 2024 campaign. The establishment adhesion period ends on December 2.

 

How the bonus works

 

The tourist voucher will have a digital format through a QR code, is personal and non-transferable and requires prepayment. The bonus is co-financed between the beneficiary (which is around 60%) and the Administration (which is around 40%). The maximum amount of the bonus is 150 euros, which can be consumed between September 10 and December 25, 2024.

 

Once it has been validated that the beneficiary provides the required co-financing, they will be enabled to download the corresponding voucher. The vouchers will be downloaded starting July 4 at 9:00 a.m. through the website www.bonoturismo.gal and, at that time, the aid is understood to have been granted. Each person will be able to have up to two vouchers.

 

To redeem the vouchers and be able to give the discounts to users, owners of tourist establishments will have to download the tourist vouchers APP to their mobile phone.

 

At the time of payment of the expense corresponding to the accommodation, the owners of the tourist establishments will have to enter the amount and concept of the expense in the APP, and the amount to be charged will automatically appear (once the discount has been applied). Users must show their voucher in QR code format and pay, in cash or by card, the final amount of the expense made.
