The Cluster promotes the ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ Product Club at BioCultura A Coruña 2024

  • The fair was held from March 1 to 3 at the EXPOCoruña venue.
  • The ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ brand had its own stand through which the region’s sustainable tourism offer was promoted.

This weekend the EXPOCoruña fairgrounds hosted the celebration of the V edition of BioCultura. The event had the participation of 150 exhibitors and the celebration of a hundred talks and complementary activities. This fifth edition was led by ecotourism, a segment that continues to grow and that allows tourists to get to know the destination through formats that do not distort nature, but rather have a positive impact on it.

The Galicia Tourism Cluster participated in this fair with its own space through which the tourist brand ‘Galicia Destino Sostenible‘ and its Product Club were promoted. The work being done in terms of sustainability was promoted, at the same time promoting the sustainable tourism offer in the region.

This space registered a constant influx of visitors, highlighting Saturday, with a notably high influx. During the three days, the Cluster space received heads of various tourist accommodation companies, as well as tourist activity companies, rural houses, agrotourism, and tourist activity companies dedicated to incentives. These people indicated their interest in joining the tourism brand ‘Galicia Destino Sostenible’, requesting information about the membership process, and the mandatory requirements to join.

They were three days of intense activity. In this space we also received people who were interested in learning about the work of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, and how they could be part of this group of companies; to visitors interested in knowing information about tourism in general, or about complementary activities such as hiking or routes; and even people interested in the Xacobeo Xove program, an initiative in which the Cluster collaborates, and in which the latest vouchers are available to enjoy the Camino de Santiago with a discount of €200.
