The Michelin Guide 2024 recognizes one more year the Spanish gastronomy. The winners of this edition were announced during the 2024 Gala, held at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) at the end of November. The guide recognized 31 restaurants with 1 star, highlighting a Galician restaurant.
The name of the Galician chef Brais Pichel joined the new stars awarded this year with his restaurant #Terra, located in Fisterra, right on A Ribeira beach. It thus enters into an exclusive qualification shared by those who offer “high-level cuisine, top quality products, careful preparation, marked flavors and notable regularity in the preparation of dishes.”
Pichel will return home to turn his family business around and rethink, from a modern vision, the flavors of the Costa da Morte. The restaurant offers a single seasonal tasting menu, in which the best product is chosen in its best season, “seeking the essence and respect for what surrounds us.”
