The #DiscoverGaliciaenOutono tourist voucher sells out in 10 minutes

  • The program puts 10,000 discount vouchers into circulation, worth €100 each.
  • Accommodation establishments and travel agencies can join the initiative until December 1, 2023.

 

Last Friday, October 27, at 09:00 in the morning, Turismo de Galicia opened the application period to obtain one of the 10,000 tourist vouchers of the #DiscoverGaliciainOutono program. A download period that only lasted 10 minutes, a time in which the beneficiaries were able to get hold of some of these bonuses. The vouchers, worth €100, allow you to enjoy discounts of 40% on each purchase.

 

The 10,000 bonuses can be applied at any of the accommodation establishments and travel agencies participating in the initiative, which are identified with the campaign badge and which can also be consulted through this link. The deadline to use the voucher in participating establishments will be December 25.

 

Establishments interested in joining the program may request their membership until December 1, 2023 through the official page of the tourist voucher. Accommodation establishments located in Galicia can participate (hotel establishments, tourism camps, rural tourism establishments, tourist apartments, tourist homes and tourist hostels) and travel agencies that have a work center in the Galician community, and that develop their activities within the tourism sector linked to Galicia, providing services, activities or products linked to this program in Galicia. In both cases, they must be registered in the Registry of Tourist Companies and Activities (REAT) at the time of publication of the call, and be aware of the signature that was provided to them at the time of registration in this registry.

 

The Galician Tourism Agency organized an information day about this campaign, aimed at accommodation establishments and travel agencies interested in joining the program. The session, which took place on Monday, October 30, can be viewed through this link.

 

The tourist voucher seeks to encourage tourist activity in Galicia by people residing in the Community, and to boost tourist consumption and the economy and employment outside of the high season, promoting deseasonalization.
