With the publication of the Official Document of Galicia (DOG) last Friday, November 20, the new campaign began of the #DiscoverGaliciaenOutono tourist voucher. From that same day, travel agencies and accommodation establishments interested in joining the initiative will be able to do so through the page bonoturismo.gal/ until the closing of the membership period, which will be December 1, 2023.

Accommodation establishments located in Galicia (hotel establishments, tourism camps, rural tourism establishments, tourist apartments, tourist homes and tourist hostels) and travel agencies that have a work center in the Galician community, and that develop their activities, may participate. activities within the tourism sector linked to Galicia, providing services, activities or products linked to this program in Galicia.

In both cases, they must be registered in the Registry of Tourist Companies and Activities (REAT) at the time of publication of the call, and be aware of the signature that was provided to them at the time of registration in this registry.

A renewed system

The tourist voucher of the Xunta de Galicia has new features this year compared to the previous edition. This time a different download and use system will be used. In this edition, prepaid wallet cards will not be enabled, but rather 10,000 discount vouchers will be put into circulation, in QR code format, worth €100 each. Through this, you can enjoy discounts of 40% on each purchase until the balance of the bonus is exhausted.

Bonus beneficiaries

People interested in requesting the tourist voucher can do so starting next Friday, October 27, at 9:00 a.m., through the website bonoturismo.gal. The deadline to use the voucher in participating establishments will be December 25.
