The Galician terminals significantly improved the numbers of visitors with respect to the same period in the previous year. According to the latest balance sheet published by Aena, the Rosalía de Castro airport remains the fastest growing airport in Spain, handling more than 2 million passengers per year.
In the month of July alone, 626,983 passengers arrived by plane in Galicia, nearly 70,000 more than those registered in the seventh month of the previous year, 12.4% more.
