After the meeting between the Galician Tourism Cluster and the General Directorate of Natural Heritage, the number of visits to the Guidoiros archipelago is increased from 100 to 150.

Access times will be agreed with the tourism sector in order to ensure a good balance between the protection and enjoyment of this natural area.

 

The president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, and the president of Agetan, José Luis Fernández Vázquez, together with the general director of Natural Heritage, Belén do Campo, met with the tourist sector to specify theThe Galician Tourism Cluster together with the Galician Association of Active Tourism, Adventure and Nature Companies, met with the Xunta de Galicia to establish three daily shifts of access to the Guidoiros archipelago, of which the Areoso islet is part.

 

Access schedules with the aim of guaranteeing a good balance between the protection of the values and the public enjoyment of this natural space.

 

In high season, the number of visitors allowed per day will follow the same criteria as for access to other natural areas: 100 to 150 people per day.

 

The main objective is to find the perfect balance between the growing tourist interest and the protection of the natural resources of the area.
