HomeAway launches the eighth edition of its contest to find the Rural Wonders of Spain from 20 candidacies among which is Tui, in Pontevedra. The aim of the initiative is “to continue promoting rural tourism, not only among Spanish travellers but also among travellers from all over the world under the firm commitment to support and give visibility to Spanish towns that normally have limited promotional resources” explained Juan Carlos Fernández, HomeAway’s Regional Director for Southern Europe.

The center and south are again the regions with the highest number of candidates, especially Andalusia and Castilla y León, followed by Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura. Galicia participates with the Pontevedra town of Tui. To participate you only have to access through the website set up for the competition from 25 September 2019 until 17 October 2019, then the Seven Rural Wonders of Spain will be discovered.
