The Galicia Active Destination brand has set itself the objective of creating 3 new active tourism products

The City of Culture of Santiago de Compostela hosted this week the II Xornada Galicia Active Destination, conceived with the aim of continuing the work of positioning the brand and the tourism offer linked to sports and active tourism. In this context the day focused on the presentation of the brand, the assessment of the results obtained in 2018 and the holding of a workshop with companies that want to join the brand or implement new tourism products that follow the structure of those created so far.

A total of 8 companies participated in the workshop to advance in the creation of 3 new products linked to Active Tourism, which must necessarily include active tourism companies, accommodations, travel agencies, catering services, tourist guides as well as other complementary services such as museums, interpretation centers or marinas, according to the product creation guidelines established for the GDA brand. From this workshop emerged the working tables that will advance in the creation of these three new products, this year’s objective for the brand Galicia Active Destination.
