With the aim of combining marine tourism, thermalism and Camino de Santiago, Fitur hosted the presentation of the Club del agua, the new brand sponsored by Turismo de Galicia with which it seeks to promote sustainable and planned proposals that contribute to attract visitors throughout the year to the Community. This initiative includes the Ruta dos Faros de Galicia, the Ruta do Miño de Parador in Parador, as well as proposals in the Galician spas and nautical crossings through the Arousa estuary that recall the’ traslatio’ of the body of the Apostle to Galicia by sea. During her presentation at Fitur, the director of Tourism of Galicia stressed that this initiative, which has the participation of the Association of Spas of Galicia,”bets on quality and planning, respect for the environment, commitment to sustainability and the value of natural resources.
In this meeting with the whole Galician tourism value chain also began the promotion of Termatalia, which will hold its third edition in Latin America in Foz do Iguaçu, State of Paraná, Brazil, between 19 and 21 September 2018 under the slogan “La energía de las aguas”. A meeting that will bring new business opportunities for companies from Spain and Galicia, as well as other participating countries. The presentation was attended, among many other authorities, by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Matilde Asian, who referred to the good times tourism is living in Galicia and said that “Termatalia is a project closely linked to quality and excellence tourism. For his part, the president of Spa Resorts of Spain, Miguel Mirones, said that “this fair is necessary because it also represents the entrepreneurs of the thermal sector and has helped us to internationalize ourselves”.
