The Xacobeo Xove program adds more than 40 experiences to enjoy the Camino de Santiago

  • With this initiative, people between the ages of 18 and 30 with an active Xove Card can obtain discounts of €200 on experiences on the Camino de Santiago.

The Xacobeo Xove program was born with the aim of bringing the experience of the Camino de Santiago closer to youth. Thanks to this initiative, all those people between the ages of 18 and 30 who have an active Xove Card (that is, who have the Eyca number), can request a discount of 200 euros on services linked to the ten official Jacobean Routes: French Way, Fisterra-Muxía Way, Vía de la Plata, English Way, Primitive Way, Northern Way, Route of the Sea of ​​Arousa and Río Ulla, the Winter Way, the Portuguese Way and the Portuguese Way of the Coast.

 

The Galician travel agencies adhering to the program are in charge of marketing the experience. The tourist packages can be configured by agencies participating in the program or can be designed according to the specific needs of each beneficiary. So far there are 23 agencies attached to the initiative, adding more than 40 different experiences to enjoy the Camino de Santiago.

 

Among the available offer, which can be consulted through the website there are routes to do the Camino as a couple; experiences between vineyards, valleys and rivers; adventurous activities; or even stages to discover the most festive Way, living the festival of the Fiestas de San Roque de Melide.

 

In order to benefit from the program, the cost of the entire trip must be, without or discount, at least 300 euros. The beneficiaries must agree to a co-financing of at least 100 euros. The trips can be made between July 1 and December 10, 2023, as long as the purchase of the tourist package is made before November 30, 2023.
