The Hotel Technological Institute (ITH) organized in Ourense on Tuesday, June 21 a day of Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in hotels. To managers or responsible for maintenance of hotel establishments (hotels and cottages, mountain spas, camping, restaurants, etc.) with particular interest for those who have restricted sources of energy, ITH wants to offer training to manage energy costs efficiently and increase the comfort of its customers.

The conference, composed of different seminars and a panel discussion will feature the participation of key stakeholders in the management energéitca, who will share their vision and attendees can find simple answers to the different needs according to the profile of their establishments in the field of air conditioning, hot water production or other thermal uses (laundry, heated pools, spa, etc.).

The aim of this conference is to help hotels to find the most appropriate setting to their profile maximizing energy savings in their facilities solutions. During the day different technologies and key for adaptation, which can mean significant cost savings in operations and maintenance are proposed. Finally, the role of banks, their funding proposals and their adaptation, both the technologies and services, as to the peculiarities of the tourism sector will be identified.
