The Galician Tourism Cluster, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia – Axencia Turismo de Galicia, is organizing a new edition of the annual meeting of the ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ Product Club on Wednesday, May 14th. This event is aimed at companies that are part of the brand and requires prior registration. The event will be held at Bodegas Martín Códax (Cambados) and will bring together industry stakeholders to collectively reflect on the present and future of sustainable tourism in Galicia.

Under the motto “The value of moving forward together,” this event will focus on sharing paths toward sustainability and sharing challenges and best practices in the sector. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a reception for attendees and continue with the screening of the new promotional video for Galicia Sustainable Destination, followed by a presentation of the 2024 activities report and the roadmap for 2025.

One of the highlights will be the presentation of communication kits to the newly affiliated companies, in a recognition and welcome ceremony. This will be followed by participatory roundtables where attendees can exchange experiences, identify common challenges, and discuss practical solutions on the path toward increasingly responsible and environmentally friendly tourism.

The day will conclude with a tasting, wine pairing, and free networking session, an opportunity to continue strengthening ties between the club’s companies.

With this new event, the Galician Tourism Cluster and the tourism brand “Galicia Sustainable Destination” reaffirm their commitment to sustainable tourism, consolidating their position as a benchmark at the regional level and promoting a model based on collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Joining the ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ program

To join the ‘Galicia Sustainable Destination’ program, companies must meet at least one qualifying requirement or meet 100% of the mandatory requirements and 33% of the evaluable requirements. Membership can be requested through the website galiciadestinosostible.com. Once the advisory committee accepts membership, the company will manage its offers through the portal and enjoy the benefits of belonging to the product club free of charge.
