At the state level, employment in the tourism sector has also maintained a positive trend, with a year-on-year growth of 4.1%, adding 104,437 new affiliates and reaching a total of 2.62 million workers throughout Spain.
This growth reflects the consolidation of tourism as a key pillar in the Galician economy, driven by the recovery of the sector and the diversification of the tourist offer. The hospitality industry, together with travel agencies and tour operators, continues to generate employment, aligning with the national trend of strengthening the sector. Furthermore, the increase in the number of employees suggests greater job stability.
