Today our community is the second most camellia variety after Japan, with more than 200 species and about 30 thousand different varieties of camellias. In addition, no other place offers the visitor a variety of species of camellia flower, collectors, exhibitions and producers of camellia plant that resembles that of Galicia. Even its presence is in the centers of the cities, becoming, for many Galicians, the emblem flower of Galicia, explained the director of Tourism of Galicia.
