Route of Wine Rias Baixas has received the Merit Accessibility in Tourism 2016, a recognition included within the III Awards Wine Tourism Wine Routes of Spain, organized by the Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN), and stressed this wine tourism itinerary among 115 nominations submitted to the 13 categories of the contest. This award recognizes the launch Workshop sensory memory for the Blind developed last year in collaboration with ONCE in the special program of the European Day of Wine Tourism 2015. The III Awards Wine “Wine Routes of Spain” have broken a record participation, with 115 nominations submitted to the contest. The proposals were evaluated, in a first phase, the -a public feedback through online- and in a second phase, by a multidisciplinary jury.
The awards and special mentions will be held on 22 November in Madrid. This event will include the participation of representatives of the Ministries of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and Agriculture, Food and Environment.
