Natural resources focus the bet of the Xunta for this year in Fitur

One of the great novelties of this year in the Galician stand was the presence of a differentiated module, promoted by the Department of Environment and Spatial Planning, through the General Directorate of Nature Conservation, under the brand ‘Patrimonio Natural de Galicia ‘, informed of the great natural attractions of our community with a view to diversifying supply and favoring the development of the areas of influence of these enclaves of high ecological value.

Under the maxim “Galicia, natural and unique”, the councilor for the Environment, Beatriz Mato, was in charge of explaining both this module and the bet of the Xunta for the landscape value of the Galician territory centered on 17 resources converted into “magnets” To attract tourists, especially tourists active and linked to the enjoyment of nature and landscape. Thus, these 17 spaces cover a radius of action of at least 30 to 50 kilometers in order to dynamize the areas in which each natural gem included in the list is made up of: the Islas Atlánticas National Park, the Six natural parks (Fragas del Eume, Complejo Dunar de Corrubedo, Lagunas de Vixán and Carregal, Monte Aloia, Baixa Limia-Serra do Xurés, O Invernadeiro and Serra de Enciña da Lastra); The Natural Monument of the Beach of the Cathedrals; Red Natura (Carnota-Monte Pindo and Ribeira Sacra-Canóns do Sil) and the six biosphere reserves (Ancares Lucenses and Montes de Navia, Cervantes and Becerreá, Eo River, Oscos and Terras de Burón, Area of Allariz, Las Mariñas Coruñesas and Terras do Mandeo, Terras do Miño and the trans-border Xurés-Gerês).
