Tourism of Galicia and the Galician tourist sector as a whole bet in 2017 for the international and specialized professional fairs, continuing with the work of internationalization and search for new marketing channels for the Galicia brand. Thus, in the provisional calendar of attendance to Fairs that Galicia Tourism has communicated, the Galician tourist offer will be present in a total of 33 professional tourism fairs, ten national and 23 international. These last ones will take the tourist products of our territory to countries like Japan, China, Brazil, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, Holland, Italy, Germany or Austria, among others.
The presence in this type of professional meetings allows our companies to establish contacts and commercial relations and to better adapt our tourism products to the needs of tour operators, whether in markets already consolidated such as European (Italy, Germany, United Kingdom .. .) Or in new markets such as Chinese or Canadian. In addition, participating in trade fairs specialized in religious tourism, ornithological, nautical or meetings can guide our tourism offer to market niches with great potential for growth and future.
