Tourism emotions Galicia, working to improve the marketing of Galician wine resources

The project promoted by Proturga and Gallaecia, in collaboration with the Tourism Cluster, is developed in working with organizations and companies

A total of 132 people have participated in the various workshops proposed under the project “Marketing Wine Tourism in Galicia” launched by the Association of Professionals in Tourism Galicia (PROTURGA) and the Association of Sommeliers of Galicia (GALLAECIA) within the contest of ideas proposed by the Cluster Turismo Galicia. The project’s main purpose is creating attractive quality wine tourism packages and put in value the Galician wine while resources that this improvement will also contribute to the revitalization of Galician tourism sector, increasing revenue, creating jobs and desestacionalizando demand.
Organizations like wineries, hotels, restaurants, official guides, artisans, museums, tourist offices and public and private entities that are part of the Routes des Vins de Galicia have participated in any of the ten workshops organized to date under EMOTIONS ENOTURISMO GALICIA name.

In these tables, developed in the Regulatory Boards of Appellations of Origin (CRDO) Rias Baixas, Ribeira Sacra and Monterrei, as well as the Center Desenvolvemento Comarcal do Ribeiro and the Pazos Aldea Rural Arenteiro, has submitted the tender and demand at regional and national levels; It has collected information services companies and have carried out tasks of awareness of the potential of wine tourism subsector as a source of income. Then we evaluate the existing offer for configuring packages consensus.

In the coming days, they will be held meetings with travel agencies to publicize the packages and the conclusions will be presented to adhere to this project, upcoming workshops, with the aim of carrying out the marketing strategy together.

Finally, a public presentation of the project, which carried out the packages will be exhibited the characteristics of each strategy and the sale will take place.
