With the help of Turismo de Galicia, the initiative of the Provincial Association of Hotel and Catering and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl), E para comer, Lugo, will once again be present at the next edition of La Vuelta, the cycling event that will take place in Spain from 25 August to 16 September. This confirms the participation, for the seventh consecutive year, of Lugo’s gastronomy in this sporting event, which will also serve to promote tourism in the province of Lugo throughout the country during the development of this competition. The “E for lunch, Lugo” stand will be installed in the VIP area of the 21 stage outings and will be staffed directly by the Association. As in previous editions, all visitors will be served appetizers made with products from our region and copies of the guide will be distributed… And to eat, Lugo.
Among the collaborators in this initiative are the regulatory councils of Ribeira Sacra, Ternera Gallega, Queso Arzúa-Ulloa, Queso del Cebreiro, Patata de Galicia and Castaña de Galicia, as well as Avimós, Asovega, Fabas de Lourenzá, Armadores de Burela, Galician Grelos, Galician Biscuits, Mougán Peppers, Miel de Galicia, Afapan. It is necessary to emphasize that this year, for the first time, Leche 100 % Gallega and the Asociación Nacional de Criadores de Ganado Vacuno Selecto de Raza Rojiza Gallega (Acruga) have joined the list of collaborators. According to Apehl’s President, Cheché Real, “Many people praise the quality, freshness and variety of the products on offer at the Apehl stand and we want to keep it that way”.
