The weekend of 21 and 22 May and 28 and May 29 Wine Routes of Galicia celebrate a new edition of its Open Days with tastings, activities of all kinds and where no shortage of buses Wine will allow large numbers of people to access the various wineries of the five denominations of origin.
Ruta do Viño do Ribeiro is coming on the end of “official” week with few open days that will taste their wines in time from 11: 30h to 13:00 and 17:00, Saturday 21 and 12:00 pm on Sunday, May 22. In addition, there will also be Vinobus routes from Ourense and Vigo as last year and the incorporation of departures from Santiago de Compostela, stopping at O Carballiño and from the city of Lugo. Vinobus service, like visits to wineries and to the Rectoral are totally free but book a place needed. The other two wines routes of Galicia held the conference on the following weekend. The outputs will be from Monforte de Lemos, Ourense and Lugo; while on Sunday, the outputs are only from Monforte de Lemos and Ourense. The itinerary includes visits to the Ecomuseum Arxeriz, Quinta Sacra, the Gundivós Oleiro Center and Ethnographic Museum of Quiroga. It is also envisaged a small tour of the Romanesque of the region to end with a tasting by Bruno Lovelle, expert sommelier in Ribeira Sacra and member of the tasting panel of CRDO Ribeira Sacra, in the do Viño Centro da Ribeira Sacra Monforte de Lemos (Saturday 28). Valdeorras and Monterrei also held the Open Day with free Vinobus. In the case of Monterrei established itineraries allow visiting wineries Boo Riveiro, Crego and Monaguillo, Gargalo and Abeledos.
