Specifically, interventions will be carried out in 18 munipios through which the route takes place, divided in works of recovery of paths, signaling and improvement of infrastructures and rest areas for pilgrims, actions that are focused on improving visibility and relevance Of this Way in its two variants for the province of A Coruña.

In this sense, the territorial delegate of the Xunta in A Coruña, Ovidio Rodeiro, was in charge of announcing the first of these actions, in the city of Carral, where 116,000 euros will be invested, which will be distributed in actions for recovery, signaling and improvement Of the Way to its passage by the munipio and in the shelter of the locality, inaugurated in 2014.

Located in a strategic point of the seventh stage of the English Way, between A Coruña and Bruma, the shelter of Sergude, with availability of 30 places, allows pilgrims to find a place to sleep twelve kilometers before the end of the journey, in the town hall Of Messiah. With modern and functional facilities, the hostel offers basic services for the rest and the personal cleanliness of the walkers who go to Compostela.
